    Stock List

ALSO KNOWN AS · Stock offer, availability list, offer list

    DEFINITION

A stock list is the list of goods a trader currently has for sale, sent to buyers or published for them. For each line it shows the product, the quantity available, the condition and, usually, a price and the location of the goods.

In electronics, buyers judge a stock list by how precise and how current it is. Lines should identify the product by EAN or part number, state the specification and grading, and drop out as soon as the stock is sold. A list that is a day old already contains sold items, and offering stock you no longer have costs credibility.

Stock lists are often the basis of WTS offers, one per product or batch.
